Bits of wood Table
The sawmill billed them as firewood, these bits and pieces that remained after the windowsill, the stool or the table was finished. Odd-sized, all over the map in terms of shape, and with none resembling the other, they guaranteed only one thing: utmost formal diversity. But what if, instead of burning them, you arrange them in a mould and join them together with only molten pewter? Then you get yet another stool or table, one that doesn’t lend itself to an exact design on paper, but that is all the more playful in its execution.
